Thank you for joining our St. Patrick’s Day Parade scheduled for Tuesday, March 17, 2026 at 12:00 PM in Uptown Butte! If you have any questions or concerns, contact Parade Director as soon as possible.

The Butte America Foundation prefers Online Payment and Entry applications. Extenuating circumstances will be honored in check form, no cash payment allowed.

☘️ PARADE ENTRANTS! Please note the following. ☘️

  1. ENTRY FEES: The entry fee for Non – Profit / Community / Political is $40.00, and $80.00 for Commercial / For-Profit entries. This is necessary to cover costs associated with the parade and is non-refundable. If your group has multiple vehicles you must enter each vehicle individually. For motorcycles or Horses, two per application form.
  2. DEADLINE: Entries must be Submitted by 5:00PM Tuesday, March 10th, 2026. All LATE Entries must contact parade director asap and will be placed at the end of the parade. Fee will double per individual entry if not submitted by March 10th. There will be no exceptions. Please return entry as soon as possible.
  3. LENGTH LIMIT: There is no length limit for the Fourth of July parade but there is a 55ft length limit for the Uptown St. Patrick’s Day Parades. Entries over 55ft will be refunded, Or applied to the next parade if applicable.Contact parade director for any questions or concerns.
  4. REQUIRED:
    • Butte America Foundation parade insurance requires the following copies from each entrant.
      • Valid Vehicle registration and owner’s name.
      • Valid driver’s license for designated parade driver.
      • Proof of current liability insurance.

  5. MANDATORY PRE-PARADE MEETING:

☘️ PARADE ROUTE 2026 ☘️

Parade begins at 12:00 PM, Tuesday, March 17th, 2026. Parade assembly begins at the Lexington Gardens at 10:00 am (off Arizona on East Granite) and will be staged East on Granite, South on Covert, and East on Broadway. All entries must be at the staging area by 11:30 am and enter from Broadway Street. Participants can either disperse going East on Park, South on Arizona or return to staging area by going North on Arizona to Granite or North on Covert to Granite.

Proceed to form on the next page. Please read each rule carefully and check mark each box indicating you have fully read and understand the rules. Payment will be at the end of submission.

☘️ MANDATORY PRE-PARADE MEETING! ☘️

Wednesday, March 11th at 6:30 pm – Knights of Columbus, 224 W. Park St. Butte, MT.  

Meeting will be short but mandatory.  Numbers will be given to entrants at this time.  All entrants are required to have one representative attend the pre-parade meeting. If you do not have at least one representative at this meeting, you WILL NOT be allowed in the parade. No exceptions. If you are from out of town or cannot make the meeting, contact Parade Director Alysia Guzman in advance.

☘️ Rules and Regulations ☘️

All mobile units must carry their own liability insurance. Proof Of Liability Insurance, Vehicle Registration, and Designated Driver’s License Must Accompany Parade Entry.

Every participant, motorized or walking, must comply with all traffic and public safety laws. Mingling with or accosting parade spectators is not allowed. This Type Of Action Will Result In Immediate Removal From The Parade And Possible Banishment From Future Parades.

Tossing or throwing candy, or any other item, is strictly prohibited per the Butte America Foundation liability insurance and For the safety of all spectators, especially children. Entrants may DIRECTLY hand items throughout the parade.  Any entrant who attempts to toss or throw an item will be banished from all future parades until further notice. 

The distance between units, during the parade, is 15 feet and must be observed throughout the parade. Entries must keep their assigned position during the formation and throughout the entire course of the parade. The driver/personnel is to remain focused at all times to ensure proper distance for a safe and successful parade.

Do not stop during the parade. A forward movement must be maintained by all entries throughout the parade. No entrant shall halt the parade to conduct interviews with radio or television news people. Interviews will be allowed only as long as entrants maintain a forward movement in the parade.

Vehicles in the parade are not allowed to blow any horns or sirens. If the vehicle does blow any type of horn, A ticket will be issued & entrant will be removed from the parade with the possibility of future BAmF Parade Banishment.

Late entries will be placed at the end of the parade, and the fee will double per individual entry if not submitted by March 10th. There will be no exceptions.Please return entry as soon as possible. If you sign up late, contact Parade director asap.

Numbers will be assigned at the pre-parade meeting, Wednesday, March 11th at 6:30 pm.,and shall be clearly displayed on the left & right front of entry. Entrants will also be asked to arrive by a certain time, via email, depending on your number in the parade lineup. All entries must clean up after themselves.

Collection of cash donation on your organization’s behalf is prohibited in the parade route. You will be asked to leave the route and will be issued no refund for entry fee. Only members of Butte America Foundation or their designated agents are allowed to solicit donations or sell items of any kind along the parade route.

Live ammunition is prohibited.

Butte Silver Bow Law Enforcement Has complete control of marshaling the parade.

All representatives are required to relay all rules and regulations to your entire party, to ensure an overall safe, and successful parade.

  • I/We acknowledge that Butte America Foundation reserves the right to prohibit participation by entries deemed unsuitable.
  • I/We acknowledge collection of cash donations for entrants organization in the parade route is strictly prohibited. 
  • I/We acknowledge tossing or throwing any item is strictly prohibited.
  • I/We agree to assume all risk or bodily injuries or property damage in connection with my/our activities in the parade and hold harmless and forever waive Butte America Foundation, the event sponsor, their officers and members from all claims which may be made for any cause, whatsoever, arising as a result of or in connection with my/our participation in the 2026 Butte St. Patrick’s Day Parade.
  • I/We acknowledge any rule violation will result in possible banishment.
